Hi Pat,
I think I read recently that proprietary databases are cutting off their RSS feeds. Not certain though. It is still working on the ones I am doing. I would contact the LibGuides people.

Hi, I too am having trouble putting rss feeds into my LibGuides, at least from proprietary databases. I'd love to do something like the academic search premier example in your blog post but the feed url I get from ebsco doesn't seem to work. We use a proxy server; I don't know if that's the issue. Any suggestions you can give would be appreciated. Pat

Hi Mick .. Just ran across your blog and I like your ideas. I am adding podcasts to my libguides, but have a tough time getting to the actual feed addresses. It seems like everyone's making things more automatic -- as in, the feed opens right in iTunes, and iTunes seems to keep it hidden. I have written to a couple of websites and asked them to send me the feed address, but there must be another way. You know? Thanks! Pam Allan, Northfield Mount Hermon School in Western Mass.
